Partnership with the University of Guelph

In the spring of 2008, Meridian got together with the University of Guelph, Ontario, to explore ways of working together to better enrich the skill base of young undergraduate students attending the School.  We signed a contract with U of G whereby students from the School of Hospitality would be trained on the Meridian System.

Dr. Marion Joppe and Dr. Statia Elliot headed up the team from Guelph who were spearheading the project.  Most impressive for the University was the analytics that could be extrapolated from the system.  Content and data rich, the system provides marketers with “real time” numbers from which to build their marketing strategies.  Three students from Guelph have been working with Meridian this summer to get the training material ready for the fall semester.
